The Bobtail Creek stock is exposed over an area of 3. 2 km2 and is in contact with Precambrian schists. It is composed predominantly of syenites containing aegirine-augite. An ultramafic rock composed mainly of pyroxene and amphibole is poorly exposed along the southwestern part of the stock.
