Adams and Osborne (1934) have described nepheline syenites from a locality about 64 km west of Solwezi, but no details of the field relationships or extent of the occurrence are given. The rocks consist of microcline, rather less albite, abundant sodalite, nepheline, which may be partly replaced by cancrinite, zeolite or sericite, aegirine, garnet, occasional muscovite, rare scapolite and accessory perovskite, carbonate, zircon and iron oxides. A rock analysis is given.
