This is a complex consisting mainly of a swarm of north-northeasterly-trending dykes. The dykes extend almost continuously to the south-southwest for over 20 km where they widen into an unnamed complex of similar size to El Horba. Within El Horba some northwest-trending dykes also occur. Slices of basement are often present between the dykes, but generally this is not the case. The dykes are peralkaline trachytes. At the southwest end of the complex the dykes are cut by a small stock of peralkaline syenite porphyry.
