This granite intrusion is pear-shaped and covers 25 km2. It cuts through volcanogenic Devonian deposits and granodiorites. The inner structure of the intrusion is very complex because of the presence of zones of aegirine-riebeckite granite that have developed metasomatically from primary biotite granite. Early aplite and microgranite dykes are followed by dykes of diorite porphyry and microdiorite.
